UND celebrates culture with International Fair during International Education Week
The University of North Dakota is hosting the annual International Education Week Nov. 12-16.
As part of the week, UND will holds its International Fair at the Wellness Center Friday Nov. 16, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The fair is a celebration of the different cultures represented at UND and will include multiple displays and events from students representing their cultures. This is an opportunity to learn about and experience different cultures and traditions that make up the cultural diversity of UND.
Some of the events for the International Fair will include:
- Bollywood Dancing
- Dancing from Saudi Arabia
- Flag GameTable of Language
- Cultural displays from countries and regions
- Cricket Showcase
International Education Week is a chance to celebrate the different cultures represented at UND and to recognize the benefits of international education worldwide.
UND will host events throughout the week that:
- Celebrate the value and importance of international education in all dimensions.
- Promote programs to prepare UND students forinternational and global engagement.
- Support the value of attracting future leaders from abroad to study and learn at UND.
