The University of North Dakota will be hosting the Body Project once again. The Body Project is a two-week body acceptance workshop designed to help women resist social pressures to conform to the thin-ideal and reduce their pursuit of thinness.
There are two options for those who would like to attend.
Option 1: Wednesdays, Feb. 26 and March 5, 12-1:30 p.m., Presidents Room
Option 2: Thursdays, Feb. 27 and March 6, 12-1:30 p.m., Memorial Room

The following topics will be discussed: How body image ideal has been changing over time, how thin ideal was developed and why, who benefits from supporting thin idea, how to develop healthy body image, how to decrease binge eating and how to love your body more. There will also be many thought-provoking discussions and experiential exercises.
