Estimated cost for June Quebec Seminar (June 3 - June 30, 2012)
Basic cost which does not include 6 credits is approximately ......... $ 2,800
Includes days at UND, trip to Manitoba, full round trip to Quebec City, all lodging en route and on location, most meals, all transportation, and all instruction.
Add the following if you register for 6 University of North Dakota credits
If you are a UND student (ND resident)
- Undergraduate: $1,800
- Graduate: $1,900
If you are a MN resident
- add $150 to above figures for undergraduate credits
- add $450 to above figures for graduate credits
If you are from outside of the above region, we will have to have to calculate the amount upon request
Transportation is by van. We do about 250 - 300 miles per day when we travel between Grand Forks and Quebec. We meet and interview people along the way as we collect information for our field research.
We are seeking funding that will allow us to reduce the cost to deserving applicants. We favor advanced students with good fluency in French who will use the project to continue their studies in French and teachers of French who will use the project to prepare material for their students.
