PAC-W Mission Statement

The President's Advisory Council on Women’s Issues was created in the Spring of 1994 to advise the President of the University of North Dakota on matters concerning equity for women at UND. The committee is responsible for assessing the status of women on campus, recommending agendas and strategies for dealing with issues pertaining to women, and ensuring that the University establishes a process for constant monitoring of information relevant to the status of women. Within that broad assignment the committee serves to encourage the infusion of gender perspectives into curricular and extracurricular life; to promote professional equity for all women; to promote equal access to education and financial support for women students at all levels in all colleges; and to promote a healthy climate of respect for all women and men at the University of North Dakota.
