Are there any specific items you would like to see the retention committee address?
Does your department/college/division conduct any retention related initiatives that the committee should be made aware of?
What sorts of retention related data would you find beneficial, and how would it be best communicated?

Where would you like to see this initiative go? Should it become a permanent fixture at UND?
What other FYE-type programs/courses are there at UND? Does your department, for example, do something that has the goal of improving first-year student success?

What are the most appropriate and effective ways to promote open forums and other events so that all students and community members are aware and have the opportunity to attend?
Open forums are not always effective at gathering input from students and other populations. What are your suggestions on more effective approaches to gathering necessary feedback and ideas from students and others?

What should the undergraduate student profile (new freshmen, transfer, and online/distance/etc.) look like as UND begins to target its recruitment, admissions, and enrollment processes?
What are best practices that could be used to target, market, and appeal to these populations?
How should the admissions/enrollment funnel be managed at the institutional, college/school, and departmental levels?

Do you have any suggestions for the UND Undergraduate Research website as its being developed?
