Honorary degree nominations sought by Dec. 14
Members of the University Council are invited to nominate outstanding individuals for an honorary degree to be awarded at commencement ceremonies. Honorary degrees are conferred by UND to nominees who have reached a level of distinction in his or her field, and have outstanding service to the nation, to the state, and to the University. The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, December 14, 2018.
The applicable State Board of Higher Education policy and institutional criteria and standards are available below. Please review this information prior to submitting a nomination.
