WinHPC Clusters

Cluster Software

Software currently installed on the Sallah WinHPC cluster include: CMG (Computer Measurement Group), Ansys Fluent and HFSS. Other software applications can be installed upon request with the condition that the user be able to provide appropriate licensing.

Cluster Hardware

Sallah - Opteon WinHPC 2008 R2 Cluster

  • 6 Sun Microsystems x2200 compute nodes.
    • Dual 64bit, 4 core Opteron processors (8 cores total)
    • 16GB of RAM.
  • 1 Head/Scheduling/User Access Node
    • UND Active Directory Login
  • 5TB GB of usable RAID 5 storage
    • Available through a windows shared drive.
  • WinHPC Pack R2
  • WinHPC Server 2008 R2 - OS
