Roxanne Vaughan, PhD, and James Foster, PhD, in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, created a monoclonal antibody against the dopamine transporter for their own research use back in 2004. They began to receive frequent requests for the antibody from their colleagues in the field, and Vaughan and Foster approached the Office of Intellectual Property Commercialization (IPCED) for a more effective and economical dissemination strategy (April 2012) - read more here.

A Data management tool developed at the University of North Dakota will be offered to state offices of rural health (SORHs) in all 50 states through a new non-exclusive license agreement with the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH).
