SAMAT consists of four full-time marketing professionals in the Division of Student Affairs. First and foremost members will keep their current duties and serve their individual departments separate from this process. Projects will be accepted, when possible, in addition to their current workload. Members of the Advisory Team include:
Kirsten Carolin, Residence Services Kirsten oversees the Residence Services Marketing Group which includes a full time Graphic/Interactive Media Designer and three graphic/video student employees. The Marketing Group provides support to Housing, Dining Services and the University Children's Center. Kirsten graduated from the Carlson School of Management and has worked at UND since 1995.
Lacey Dahlen, Health and Wellness Lacey leads the marketing and communications efforts for the Health & Wellness Unit, serving the departments of Health & Wellness Hub, Counseling Center, Student Health Services and the Wellness Center. The marketing team at the Health & Wellness Unit has a full-time graphic designer and four student employees. Lacey received her BS from UND in 2010 and majored in Communication and Sociology. Before her position with Health and Wellness, she worked with University and Public Affairs in e-Marketing & Communications as a Marketing Associate and Videographer.
Rebecca Slade, Service Manager/Marketing, Memorial Union Rebecca provides overall marketing services for the Memorial Union. She has a BFA in graphic design from MSU Moorhead. She supervises 6-10 graphic design students at the Sign & Design Studio as well as oversees all business service areas in the Union.
Jennifer Swangler, Admissions & Financial Aid / Office of Extended Learning Jennifer leads a team of a full-time marketing coordinator, a full-time graphic designer/editor, and a part-time marketing assistant. Together, they serve the marketing needs for Admissions & Financial Aid. She has worked at UND since 2002, and holds master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communication.
