Who is a Nontraditional Student?
The University of North Dakota defines a nontraditional student as a student, age 25 or older, who may also have work, family or other obligations while attending college. This includes transfer, commuter, veteran, military and returning or re-entering students.
The purpose of the Adult Re-Entry program is to assist and support nontraditional students as they navigate the many challenges of returning to college. Adult Re-Entry is a valuable resource and enables nontraditional students an opportunity connect with campus and community resources. The primary goal of the Adult Re-Entry program is to provide students with options that will enhance their educational experience at the University of North Dakota and encourage personal and academic success.
