Award: A $2,000 award will be given in recognition of an undergraduate faculty academic adviser who exemplifies outstanding service in the following areas:

caring attitude, strong knowledge of UND policies and procedures, ability to integrate a student's social, educational, career, and life goals and objectives.

Funding for this award is made possible this year by the UND Foundation.

Eligibility: All undergraduate faculty academic advisers are eligible for nomination. UND faculty, staff, student, or alumni may submit nominations. To be eligible, nominees cannot have won any other Founders Day award in the past five years.

Deadline: Nominations must be returned no later than Friday, January 13, 2012.

Selection: A subcommittee of the UND Academic Advising Committee will review the nominations and select a recipient. The Award will be presented annually at the UND Founders Day celebration that takes place in February.
