Early Intervention
The Student Success Center is excited to offer an Early Intervention program which identifies and informs students earlier than midterm deficiencies that their successful completion of a course is in jeopardy. As part of the program, between the fourth and fifth week of class, instructors of participating classes are able to identify the area(s) in which a student is struggling:
- Excessive Absences
- Deficient Assignment Scores
- Deficient Test Scores
- Deficient Writing Scores
- Missing Assignments
An email is then sent to all students identified informing them of the instructor's concern(s) and encouraging them to utilize a list of campus resources.
