Voting Requirements

 

In order to vote in North Dakota, you must be:

         • A U.S. citizen;

         • At least 18 years old on the day of election;

         • A resident of North Dakota; and

         • A resident in the precinct for 30 days preceding the election.

If you are living in the Residents Halls on the University of North Dakota Campus, and have lived there since the beginning of the 2012 - 2013 school year, and are 18 years of age, you are considered a North Dakota Resident, living in district 42, and are eligible to vote at the UND Wellness Center.
