2015 Student Employee of the Year Award Winner
Brittany Slagle, a University of North Dakota senior majoring in Communication Sciences & Disorders, has been named the University of North Dakota Student Employee of the Year for 2015.
Brittany works as a Morgue Technician in support of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences’ Deeded Body Program. Brittany was nominated by Denelle Kees, Manager of the Deeded Body Program and Dr. Mandy Meyer, Director of the Deeded Body Program. In one of Brittany’s nomination forms, Dr. Meyer wrote, “No matter the task Brittany is assigned, she puts forth the highest quality of work.” Dr. Meyer also added that Brittany’s direct manager, Denelle Keys, stated she “is the best and brightest student I have ever had the pleasure to work with in my 12 years here.”
Brittany’s name has been added to the Student Employee of the Year plaque that is displayed in the Student Employment Office at Career Services and she has been awarded a $500 scholarship from the division of Student Affairs.
Not only is Brittany UND’s Student Employee of the Year, she was also named as the Student Employee of the Year for the entire state of North Dakota. As a state award winner, Brittany receives a certificate and a cash award from the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators.
