National Student Employment week (NSEW) is April 13-19, 2014. The National Student Employment Association (NSEA) recognizes this week during April of each year. Throughout the week supervisors and departments are encouraged to show appreciation for their student employees and the invaluable services they provide.

Student Employee of the Year
The Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) Recognition Program gives supervisors the chance to nominate their outstanding student employees whom they feel warrant recognition for their on the job performance. Supervisors nominate student employees that portray reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism, and uniqueness of contribution while on the job. The individual selected by the Student Employee of the Year Committee will receive a $500 award for the spring semester. The Student Employee of the Year Committee will forward this year's recipient to the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrator's (MASEA) for the Regional Student Employee of the Year Recognition Program.
Nominations will be accepted in January. Watch for an email notification or check back often.
The 2014 Student Employee of the Year Award will be presented in April during the annual Memorial Union Leadership Awards.
