National Student Employment week (NSEW) is April 13-19, 2014. The National Student Employment Association (NSEA) recognizes this week during April of each year. Throughout the week supervisors and departments are encouraged to show appreciation for their student employees and the invaluable services they provide.
Student Employment at UND will recognize the importance of both on-campus and off-campus student workers with an event at the Memorial Union on Tuesday, April 15, from 11:00am-1:00pm. Please encourage your students to stop by for free Root Beer Floats and to register for door prizes.

The Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) Recognition Program gives supervisors the chance to nominate their outstanding student employees whom they feel warrant recognition for their on the job performance. Supervisors nominate student employees that portray reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism, and uniqueness of contribution while on the job. The individual selected by the Student Employee of the Year Committee will receive a $500 award for the spring semester. The Student Employee of the Year Committee will forward this year's recipient to the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrator's (MASEA) for the Regional Student Employee of the Year Recognition Program.
The 2014 Student Employee of the Year Award will be presented on April 25 at 2:30 during the annual Memorial Union Leadership Awards.
