Dustin Frize, LRD, Receives the 2015 Dr. Robert H. Boyd Healthy UND Champion Award
The Dr. Robert H. Boyd Healthy UND Champion Award is named in recognition of a true champion of health and wellness at the University of North Dakota. Its purpose is to recognize the achievements of an individual, department, or group who have worked to improve the health and wellness of UND students, faculty, and staff by enhancing awareness, building skills, changing social norms, and creating a healthier environment. The award is presented at the Annual Healthy UND Coalition meeting in the fall.

Dustin is an active member of the Healthy UND Coalition and serves as chair of the Healthy UND Nutrition Subcommittee.
He chaired the 2010-2011 Healthy UND 2020 Nutrition Priority Action Group and has championed numerous efforts to promote healthy eating and enhance healthy food options on campus including:
- the labeling of vending machines and offering additional healthy choices
- expanding healthful options available in the food court, convenience stores, and dining centers
- implementing the Guiding Stars food rating system
- prominently displaying healthy food items in high traffic areas
