Dining Dollars
Most meal plans come with Dining Dollars to use at any retail dining venue as well as residential dining centers. Dining Dollars can be used at Old Main Marketplace Food Court, Stomping Grounds Coffee Shops, convenience stores, snack bars, and dining centers throughout the day, without time restrictions. Dollars expire if not used by the end of the semester. The Dining Dollars balance left on your meal plan can be checked anytime you swipe your card at a checkstand, any cashier at a retail dining outlet, or online at ManageMyID on the U Card website.
Sick Trays:
Sick Trays are available to students in the residence halls. If you are not feeling well enough to eat at a dining center, contact your hall staff for a sick tray request form. You have two options, depending on your severity of illness. Both options require a friend, roommate or RA to bring a meal to your room.
Birthday Cakes:
Dining Services makes your student's birthday a day to remember with an individual size birthday cake and short personalized message. Parents, family members or friends may order a free cake for any student on a meal plan (one cake per student). The cake will be available for pick up at the student's dining center. Order the cake online at Birthday Cake Order Form.
Sack Lunch:
Great for long-weekends when you are going to hit-the-road or anytime you don't have time to sit down and eat. Sack lunches are available for take-out at every dining center so you don't have to miss a meal. At the dining center, tell the dining center staff at the checkstand that you would like to make a sack lunch for a meal you will miss. You will be allowed to make your own lunch and take it with you
