Apartment Groups
You are invited to participate and/or volunteer in the many programs and activities that take place in the apartment community.
International Honorary for Leaders in University Apartment Communities (IHLUAC) was established to honor and recognize University apartment residents for outstanding contributions to the community in which they live. New members are selected and inducted into the organization in the spring of each year.
University Apartment Community Council is a group of residents who meeting with Housing Office administrators to explore policy changes and make recommendations regarding a variety of housing and campus issues. They also sponsor a variety of events and activities throughout the year.
Celebrate U Week was formed to recognize and promote the contributions of UND students and families on campus. A special week of events, contests and activities are planned by a committee.
Family Forum is a group that meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm for dinner and discussions. This is a great way to network with other parents and learn about helpful resources at UND and in the Grand Forks community.
Neighbor Orientation and Welcome Team (NOW-Team) meets in the summer to organize and plan fun-filled events for new residents to meet each other and learn more about UND.
English Conversation Table is open to all UND apartment residents who would like to practice their English language skills in an informal environment. Meetings are Friday at 11:30 am in the Apartment Community Center.
