Stage 6 - Select a New Room
Starts: Wednesday, March 20, 9:00 am
Ends: Thursday, March 28, 8:00 am
Stage 6 – New room selection is for students to select any open space in the residence halls or University Place by lottery time.
You will be given a lottery start time based on the date when you first applied for housing as a freshman, as long as you didn't leave campus housing (i.e. internship or co-op). This lottery time is not based on when you completed Stage 1.
Lottery times will be emailed to students by March 7. You will be able to see your lottery time in MyHousing (see screen shot below). You will NOT see a lottery number, only a time. Please go out to MyHousing well in advance of your time so you may troubleshoot any access problems (see troubleshooting at bottom of page).
NO DOUBLE AS SINGLE ROOMS WILL BE OFFERED
Room selection begins on Wednesday, March 20 at 9:00 a.m. Once your lottery time arrives, you may select a room in MyHousing. One student will be given access to select a room every 2 minutes. So the longer you wait, the fewer rooms you have to choose from. You will remain in the lottery and will be able to select a room from your lottery start time until the end of the lottery on Friday, March 28, 2013.
To select your room for next year, log-on to Campus Connection and select Self-Service/On-Campus Housing/MyHousing. You will be able to view all spaces for which you are eligible.
