About me: Hello, my name is Cole Ward I am currently a junior at UND. I am from rural northeast South Dakota near Sisseton. In addition to working toward my two degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology I am also working toward two minors in French and political science. After graduation I want to continue my education by working on my master's degree in sociology and then my doctoral degree in criminal justice. Eventually, I hope to become a U.S. Marshal and be assigned to somewhere on the East coast. One of my favorite things to do is just get in a car and take off without knowing where I am going, which among other things is why I want to be a U.S. Marshal. After college I never want to know where life will take me. I hope to travel in the future to different states and different countries. However, while at home I like to play and watch all kinds of sports, but my favorite is football.
Although I have been with the McNair Program for less than a year I feel more confident in what I am doing in the present as well as with my future goals. If I ever need help or have a question all I have to do is call the McNair program and they almost always know the answer, and if they do not they help me find the answer. In addition, the opportunities that the McNair program opened for me are endless and limitless. I am very excited to be a part of the program and continue to look forward to working with them in the future.
