T-stand Reservation Policy in the Memorial Union
- Reservations must be made at the INFO Center, either in person or by phone with one of the INFO Center attendants. (Email reservations will not be taken at this time.) A contact name, phone number, and event information must be given.
- Limit of 1 t-stand at each entrance (north and south) per week, per "event".
- There will be 8 total placements for T-stands; 4 at the North entrance and 4 at the South entrance.
- Reservation weeks run Monday thru Sunday on a first come, first serve basis. Posters may be dropped off no sooner than the Sunday before reservation period begins.
- Once the reservation time is complete, posters will be brought to the Memorial Union Administration Office, located on the third level of the Union. The Admin Office will make phone calls Monday following the week of reservation to remind about pick-up. Posters will be held until the following Tuesday after last day of reservation. Once this time is met, posters will be disposed of and/or recycled. It is the responsibility of sponsoring organization/person to pick up posters.
- The following are guidelines.
- No handmade signs accepted. See Sign & Design for more information.
- T-stand must accommodate the size of the poster.
- No political or religious endorsements (unless sponsored by a UND Student Organization).
- No offensive or suggestive language/design.
- Suggestion and/or implication of activities where alcohol or other drugs will be present are not allowed.
- No commercial promotions allowed.
- Only events or activities sponsored by UND, UND affiliates, or a recognized student group in good standing at UND may be advertised. Sponsoring organization must be listed on poster.
- Tripod easels are not allowed on the first floor due to safety reasons.
- The Memorial Union Staff will have final approval on posters.
