Love is Respect is the ultimate resource to engage, educate and empower youth and young adults to prevent and end abusive relationships. It was designed to provide a safe space for young people to access resources and feel supported.
This interactive retreat provides an opportunity to learn, share, and grow alongside other women or men. Facilitated by students and faculty of the Department of Counseling Psychology, a wide range of topics are covered including myths in the media, sex positive education as it relates to our sexual rights and wants, and assertiveness to stand up for what we want and what we don't. Now a course at UND, it is listed as COUN 399, is worth one credit, and is a pass/fail class.
