Study Abroad Fair
The Study Abroad Fair features our UND study abroad programs and our 10 affiliate providers. This event allows students to explore various study abroad opportunities. They can choose programs based on course offerings, destination, program length, and budget. Students are able to speak with study abroad alumni and advisors from each program to discuss whether that program would be right for them.

Mentor/Mentee Program
The Mentor/Mentee Program is a program designed for students who are planning to study abroad. Students heading abroad are matched up with a student who previously studied at the specific program and/or location. The Mentor/Mentor program allows students to ask questions and get ideas on what they should bring, what to see, study tips, etc.

Photo Contest
The Study Abroad Photo Contest is an opportunity for students who studied abroad during the academic year to visually share their experience abroad and have the chance to win monetary prizes. The photos will be posted on the University of North Dakota's Study Abroad Facebook page. The winners will be the photo with the most "likes". Six photos must be submitted per entrant per category (Travel & Study), so be sure to find some great photos that you took while abroad. The two categories are:
1) Travel – these photos are to be taken on a travel day/weekend/week, while you are visiting another location.

2) Study - these photos are to be taken during in an "average day", while you are on your study abroad campus

Grand prize winners for each category receive $50.
The winning photos will be displayed throughout campus and the community and have previously been displayed at the Memorial Union, Tabula, and the North Dakota Museum of Art. The deadline for submission will be the end of June. Entries must be submitted by email to und.studyabroad@email.und.edu. Entries can be submitted at any point during your time abroad.

Multimedia Contest
The UND Study Abroad Office is hosting a contest for students studying abroad in the Summer and Fall 2012 terms. Students are invited to submit a multimedia piece that best represents "My Experience Abroad." This is an opportunity for students to get creative and share with others your study abroad experience!
Eligibility: Current UND student enrolled in study abroad program Summer 2012 & Fall 2012Studied on a UND approved program
Acceptable Formats: Video, Photo journal, Photo
Prizes: Two $100 awards for best representation of the theme "My Experience Abroad"
Submission & Judging:
Students submit ONE multimedia piece via email to und.studyabroad@email.und.edu by 11:59pm on December 15, 2012 (late entries will not be considered)Judging will by UND faculty, staff and students. Photo or video quality and the story of "My Experience Abroad" will count equally in judging
