Known Issues
- Room freezes during live class. The room temporarily freezes when a meeting attendee mutes or unmutes microphone within the meeting room. Some participants report the room also freezes when starting and stopping breakout rooms.
- Resolved! We believe this issue was resolved with the installation of a patch (8.2.2.3) on March 14, 2013. If the issue persists in your course, please contact UND Tech Support.
- Google Chrome doesn't perform as expected. When using Google Chrome, sometimes the Adobe Connect plugin loads slowly or there is an Adobe Flash player conflict between what is installed on your machine already and what comes bundled with the newest update in Chrome.
- Current Workaround: At this time we are not recommending the use of Google Chrome with live Adobe Connect classes. Please use another browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari.
- Projected Resolution time: This issue should be resolved with a future Adobe Connect upgrade.
- Recording crashes during playback. Adobe Connect recordings that use screen share randomly crash on playback when using Flash player 11.6 and 11.7. Additional information on this bug can be found at http://blogs.adobe.com/connectsupport/adobe-connect-meetingsrecordings-crash-with-flash-player-11-6/.
- Workaround: Use a previous version of Flash, such as 11.4 or 11.5. Or, Google Chrome version 24 utilizes an older version of Flash, which does not cause the recordings to crash.
- Projected Resolution: We expect this problem to be resolved with the next release of Flash.
