TurningPoint Response Systems
Audience response systems (clickers) allow students in the classroom to instantly provide feedback, answer questions, and vote in response to questions posed.
Students may respond by using a "clicker" (a portable, handheld device that allows them to vote or make a selection by pressing a button), or by setting up ResponseWare on a web-enabled device such as a cell phone, laptop or mobile device.
Using a clicker or audience response system can significantly change classroom interaction by enabling instructors to assess students' knowledge, keep their attention, provide immediate feedback, and encourage all students to participate.
Where can I purchase response cards/clickers?
Can I use my mobile device as a response card?
Mobile devices can be used if the instructor has enabled this option. The ResponseWare App is free and available from the mobile app store. If the instructor allows students to respond anonymously they do not need to purchase/register a ResponseWare subscription. If needed, subscriptions can be purchased at https://store.turningtechnologies.com. Select "Enter without a code" option.
What if I drop my course and no longer need to use my response card/ResponseWare?
If you drop a course that requires a ResponseCard, the clicker can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Students will be responsible for return shipping costs to Turning Technologies. If you drop a course that requires ResponseWare, the license code can be returned within 14 business days of purchase for a full refund.
