Enroll Anytime Online Course Exam Information
Proctors have the responsibility of facilitating fairness and integrity during testing situations. Many self-paced enroll anytime courses require proctored exams. Exam information is noted on the course syllabus.
Pick one of the following options:
- If you are taking an enroll anytime MATH course, ECON 303, GEOG 121 or GEOG 121L, regardless of when you registered for the course, follow the pdf exam instructions on this page. OR,
- If you registered for your course prior to July 13, 2019, you will continue to have the option of using an in-person proctor for that course. Visit this page to view information on exam proctoring. OR,
- All other self-paced enroll anytime students should follow the exam steps below.
All students are expected to abide by the academic integrity guidelines as outlined in the UND Code of Student Life.
If proctored (monitored/supervised) exams are required to complete your course, you will use ProctorU for your exams. ProctorU is a live online proctoring service that allows students to take exams from anywhere using a webcam and Internet connection.
Step 1: Prepare for your exam
Prior to taking the exam, visit the ProctorU portal to review the readiness guide and the technical equipment requirements to take the exam.
All preceding lessons should be completed prior to taking each exam.
Step 2: Schedule your exam with ProctorU
Visit the ProctorU website when you are ready to schedule an exam. Create a ProctorU account if you don't already have one. Be sure to choose the Enroll Anytime term when scheduling the exam.
The time limit and allowable resources for each exam are posted in your Blackboard course.
Step 3: Take the exam
Log in to the ProctorU portal to connect with your proctor. ProctorU will ask you to log in to your Blackboard course to access the exam. Exams are password protected; ProctorU will enter the password to begin the exam.
Once the exam is completed and graded, you may view your score and feedback (when applicable) by going to My Grades in your Blackboard course.

Who can be my proctor?
Students who register for an enroll-anytime course on or after July 13, 2019 will use ProctorU as their proctor.

Do I have to use ProctorU to take my exam?
Students registered after July 13, 2019 must use ProctorU to proctor their exams.
