Transfer Program Agreements by State
The University of North Dakota has developed program articulation agreements with several institutions to aid in the transfer process. The program agreements should be used as a guide when choosing courses for transfer as courses, Essential Studies (general education) equivalencies and major requirements are subject to change.
An official evaluation of your transfer credit will be done upon admission to the University of North Dakota. Transfer credits will be evaluated and applied according to the current academic catalog and the approved Essential Studies list at the first semester of enrollment at UND.
If your institution is not included, UND will evaluate your transfer credits on a course-by-course basis. Check out UND's Transfer Evaluation System (TES) to see how your credits may transfer!
Receive College Credit for Military Training
Through the General Education Requirement Transfer Agreement (GERTA), current members of the U.S. Armed Forces and its veterans can now receive credit for military training. More than 130 approved military courses have been mapped to UND’s general education categories such as arts and humanities, communications, mathematics, science, social sciences, and technology and will count toward Essential Studies requirements.
