UND Writing Center
The UND Writing Center can assist you with developing skills and strategies for navigating your writing projects. The mission of the Writing Center is to serve as a resource on writing for the university community. They help people as they seek to improve their writing by offering positive, constructive responses to their work in any genre or discipline and at any stage of the writing process. The UND Writing Center believes that the development of writing abilities is a life-long process, and that writing is a skill and art that enables people to create and communicate ideas.
Math Active Learning Lab (MALL)
Students enrolled in a math class from MATH 98 to MATH 107 (Intermediate Algebra to Precalculus) learn through a student-centered emporium environment called the Math Active Learning Lab (MALL). The MALL is a center for learning mathematics, staffed by faculty and students who share a strong commitment to education. The Math Learning Center also provides services such as math tutoring, resources, and peer help.
Aerospace Learning Center
Students enrolled in the Aerospace program can utilize the Aerospace Learning Center to help guide studying and coursework. Tutoring is offered at no cost to students. The Aerospace Learning Center is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. via Zoom.
Chester Fritz Library
The Chester Fritz Library at UND enhances and facilitates teaching, learning, creativity, intellectual inquiry, innovation, and research excellence. The Chester Fritz Library is also excited to offer a new service called the Knowledge Commons. The Knowledge is a central “Academic One-Stop” where students can access a wide variety of academic services partners that include Library Services, Learning Services, the Writing Center, and Career Services. All partners are committed to regular weekly schedules and you can make an appointment for assistance. Of course, you are also welcome to do drop-in visits. Just stop at the Information Desk for assistance!
TRIO Student Support Services
TRIO is a set of federally funded programs that give students from disadvantaged backgrounds the motivation and support they need to graduate with a college degree. Student Support Services program provides academic and personal support to help students develop strategies to navigate the university system, stay in school, accomplish their educational goals, and graduate.
