Steps to Removing Holds
1–2 Semesters
As an undeclared student on probation, you have a hold on your account that will prevent you from registering for classes for the next semester. Completion of these steps is required to enroll in courses for the next semester. NOTE: You will meet two times with your academic advisor as part of your requirements.
3 or More Semesters
As an undeclared student on probation for three or more semesters at the University of North Dakota, you have two holds on your account:
- The first hold will prohibit you from adding or dropping a course this semester and will be removed when you have met with your academic advisor for the initial appointment.
- The second hold will prohibit you from registering for classes for the next semester. This hold will be removed when you have met all requirements.
NOTE: You will meet with your academic advisor three times as part of your requirements.
