Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders: Personalizing Care for Families and People with FASD
Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) are common disorders,1 of every 20 school aged children have an FASD. The disorder is expensive for families and service providers.The focus of this conference is to help people with FASD, their families and service providers improve understanding of FASD and to help develop individualized services for people who are impacted by FASD.Speakers will discuss diagnosis, service needs and prevention strategies for FASD. Multiple service providers will be available for personalized discussions of needs, strategies to obtain services and methods to meet the individual needs of people with FASD and their care providers.

Description
This instructor led, one and a half day conference focuses on helping people with FASD, their families and service providers gain a better understanding of FASD and to help develop individualized services for people who are impacted by FASD. Speakers will discuss diagnosis, service needs and prevention strategies for FASD. Multiple service providers will be available for personalized discussions of needs, strategies to obtain services and methods to meet the individual needs of people with FASD and their care providers.
Day One: 1:00 pm - 5:00pm followed by an evening reception for families, speakers and service providers
