Andria Spaeth serves as the Work Well Coordinator for the University of North Dakota Wellness & Health Promotion team. Focusing on serving all of the University of North Dakota’s four campuses, she provides creative programming and impactful experiences for the faculty and staff as it relates to lifelong, multi-dimensional wellness.
In her position at the University of North Dakota, she provides innovative solutions to improve the behavior health indictors that need the most improvement among the faculty and staff. There are several successful programs that Spaeth has implemented to encourage increases in health behaviors among those that participate. The Hydration Challenge, Wellness BINGO, the BIKE IT Challenge, Nutrition Mission, the Winter Wellness Challenge and Nutrition BINGO are just a few.
Spaeth spent 8 years at Alerus Financial as a Relationship Banker before coming over to the University of North Dakota in December of 2016. She served as the primary contact for building rapport with clients and their families by analyzing their financial needs, reviewing credit and providing financial wellness solutions for budgeting, saving, borrowing and paying down debt.
Spaeth graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2000 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. She went on to earn her Master’s of Business Administration in 2011 from the University of North Dakota. She is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health to help her stay abreast of the newest interventions in health promotion and public health. This will help her continue to improve the health of the faculty and staff at the University of North Dakota.
As a mother of 3 boys, Spaeth spends her free time as a chauffeur, shuffling her boys around Grand Forks, N.D. She enjoys running, crocheting, watching her boys' sporting events and baking in her spare time.
