Biography
David J. Miller, Senior Research Chemist, received his B.S. in Computer Science from UND and his B.A. in Chemistry from Dickinson State College. Prior to his position at the EERC, he was a Research Chemist at the U.S. Department of Energy Grand Forks Energy Technology Center. Mr. Miller’s principal areas of interest and expertise include high-resolution gas chromatography–mass spectrometric analysis, chemical ionization mass spectrometry, supercritical fluid extraction, coal liquids analysis, environmental analysis, and computer applications to facilitate data reduction. Mr. Miller is a member of the American Chemical Society, American Society for Mass Spectrometry, and American Association for the Advancement of Science. He also has coauthored over 110 publications.
