My research examines the intersection of economics, finance, and policy among all facets of higher education administration. Areas I examine include the impact of in-state tuition and financial aid policies on undocumented student populations, the diffusion of higher education policies across states, the impact of institutional debt on university management and administration, and the role played by state budgeting policies on public funding for higher education. Additionally, I regularly employ and study advanced quantitative methods, including econometrics and quasi-experimental research designs.
