Biography

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University of North Dakota. I have a PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. I have been involved in the gas and oil industry for more than 20 years as either an engineer or a researcher. My experience has included work as a petroleum engineer for the China National Offshore Oil Company and Ryder Scott Company. I have published more than 50 journal and conference papers. Additionally, I have served as an associate editor for the Journal of Unconventional Oil and Gas Resources. My research interests are in the areas of reservoir engineering, natural gas engineering, reserve evaluation, production optimization, and flow assurance.
