Biography
Ted R. Aulich, Distinguished Chemist, Fuels and Chemicals, received his B.S. in Chemistry from UND and his B.A. in Biology from St. Thomas College in St. Paul. Prior to his current position at the EERC, Mr. Aulich held the EERC positions of Process/Analytical Chemist and Technical Editor. Prior to EERC, Mr. Aulich worked as Quality Control Manager at H.B. Fuller Industrial Coatings in St. Paul, Minnesota, and as a Coatings Technologist for Koral Labs, Inc., in Fridley, Minnesota.
Mr. Aulich’s principal areas of interest and expertise include electrochemistry and process, fuel, and analytical chemistry. He has authored publications on production and utilization of alternative fuels (including hydrogen, ethanol, renewable jet/diesel), electrochemical production of electricty (via fuel cells) and ammonia, waste plastics thermal depolymerization, and environmental impacts of fuel production and utilization.
