As a French minor at UND, you'll immerse yourself in French language and culture and examine literature, film and other media from the 50-plus French-speaking countries of the world. You'll choose upper-division courses from the following categories:
- The study and practice of spoken and written French in national and international contexts
- An interdisciplinary approach to the study of Francophone literature and films
- The understanding and analysis of Francophone perspectives regarding socio-cultural contemporary world issues
Our students have paired a minor in French with engineering, medicine, education, aviation, criminal justice, music, history and many other fields.
