Research & Sponsored Program Development Operations
The Office of Research & Sponsored Program Development works to support the One UND Strategic Plan and its goal to enhance discovery at a level consistent with research intensive universities (Carnegie R1).
The Office administers the proposal submission and award negotiation processes for sponsored funding applications on campus. The research functions managed by the Office include:
- Proposal development
- Proposal review
- Proposal submission
- Notice of award receipt
- Negotiation and Execution of Awards & Sub-awards
- Temp Requests
- Award modifications, including:
- Budget Modifications
- No Cost Extensions
- Change of Principal Investigator
- Change of Scope

New Proposal Transmittal Form
The Division of Research & Economic Development has updated the proposal transmittal form. Effective 3/29/19, we will no longer be accepting the old proposal forms, so please make sure you communicate with your faculty and staff. We appreciate your help in implementing this change.
