Workshops and Training
The LGBTQ+ Ally Training Program is committed to increasing understanding and awareness around how to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for the LGBTQ+ community. These workshops are open to students, faculty, and staff. After completing the workshop, participants will receive a UND LGBTQ+ Ally placard and visibility items. UND faculty and staff will have the option of being recognized as Allies on the Pride Center webpage.
LGBTQ+ 101 Workshop
The LGBTQ+ 101 workshop is designed for UND Student Groups, Courses, Departments, Fraternities and Sororities, etc. that are interested in learning more about the LGBTQ+ community. The workshop is designed to educate on gender and sexuality along with how to take an active role in creating an inclusive environment.
Faculty/Staff Safe Colleges Training
Making Campus Safe for LGBTQ+ Students is a Safe Colleges Training available for Faculty and Staff. This training explores the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ students and provides ways that educators can help create a safe and respectful campus environment.
Transgender Awareness is a Safe Colleges Training available for Faculty and Staff. This training explores challenges faced by transgender students and how educators can communicate with respect and caring.
