Federal Tuition Assistance Program
Federal Tuition Assistance (TA)
The Federal Tuition Assistance program is a program that pays up to $250 per credit for tuition and authorized fees for active duty military members. This amount is determined by service branches. Tuition Assistance is not a loan; it should be viewed as money you have earned just like your base pay.
Active Duty Pay $250/Credit at UND
UND offers an Active Duty Military Tuition rate of $250 per credit to undergraduate students* using Federal TA benefits. You must receive approval from your service branch and then apply to UND before being eligible for TA benefits.
*Active duty military tuition rates are not valid for any Aerospace, Computer Science, Engineering, Geology, Graduate, Law and Medical Programs or self-paced enroll anytime (SPEA) online courses.
