Badminton
Badminton is played using a racquet and a shuttlecock. This game can be played 1 vs. 1 or as a team of doubles, With the court divided by a net, your goal is to ground the shuttlecock on your opponents side of the court to win points.
Ball Hockey
Ball hockey is a form of hockey played in inside a gymnasium instead of on ice, using a hard plastic ball in place of a puck. Teams consist of 5 players, but you can include up to 18 on your roster. Season is 6 weeks long with 1 game per week.
Basketball
Basketball is a game played between two teams of five players in which points are scored by throwing a ball into a netted hoop. There are three divisions for basketball: male, female, and co-ed. Basketball is offered in both the Fall and Spring semesters.
Curling
Curling at UND started as a popular Pick Up & Play game that turned into a full-fledged Intramural Sport! The game is played at the Grand Forks Curling Club in which players slide stones across a sheet of ice towards the target area, known as the house.
Ice Hockey
Ice Hockey is one of the most popular Intramural Sports at the University of North Dakota. Games are played on the same ice as the 8-time NCAA Champions at the Ralph Engelstad Arena, as well as the ICON Complex. Teams consist of 6 players with a roster limit of 18 skaters and 2 goalies. Ice Hockey is offered in both the Fall and Spring semesters.
Indoor Soccer
Indoor Soccer is played in the Multi-Activity Court (MAC) at the Wellness Center with two teams of 6 players (5 field players and 1 goalie). Indoor Soccer is offered in both the Fall and Spring semesters.
Table Tennis
Perfect for one-on-one matches, this Olympic sport uses a paddle and a ping pong ball. Come join the fun and show your speed, quickness, and skill in this competitive game.
Volleyball
Volleyball, one of the most popular co-ed sport at UND, is played on our indoor courts. Each team of six players is separated by a net, with a goal of winning points by grounding the ball on the other team's side of court.
Wiffle Ball
Just like the good ol' times playing in the backyard, Wiffle Ball is a newly added intramural that is perfect for all skill levels. Similar to baseball but played with a plastic hollow bat and a light hollow plastic ball.
