Accomplishments in 1989-2000
- 1989 - present - BaFa, BaFa Cultural Competency Training (American Indian Student Services)
- 1990 - present - Campus Life and Safety Team and Crisis Coordination Team (Dean of Students and partners)
- 1995 - present - "Clothesline Project" (Women's Center and CVIC)
- 1999, 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008 - Conducted Core Alcohol and Other Drug Survey (University Counseling Center Substance Abuse Prevention Office)
- Fall of 1999-present-Commission on Student Use of Alcohol established by Dr. Boyd, Vice President for Student and Outreach Services and Student Government, and partners
- January 2000 - $50,000 allocated by Student Health Services for Health Promotion and Marketing. Student Health Promotion Office established.
- 2000 - present - Expanded health & wellness programming, services, and facilities (H-UND partners)
- Fall 2000-ongoing-Apartment Housing began using wellness model for programming (Residence Life, Apartment Community and other partners)
- January 2000 - Opinion Survey was conducted to determine campus health/wellness needs, identify existing resources and recruit potential partners/volunteers (Student Health Services)
- April & May 2000 - Held campus-wide meetings to discuss wellness issues and set priorities
- April 2000-present- Earth Day Activities (Wellness Center, Facilities, Healthy UND, other partners)
- October 2000 -President Kupchella officially launched the Healthy UND Coalition and charged Dr. Robert Boyd with organizational oversight. $10,000 in health fee funding was provided through the Division of Student and Outreach Services.
- Spring 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 - Conducted National College Health Assessment (Student Health Services)
- May 2000-Developed 7 Dimensions of Wellness Web Links List, Brochure, and Resource List (Healthy UND, Student Health Services)
- July 2000-IMPACT Self Defense Program initiated (Women's Center, Student Health Services)
- November 2000-present - Sponsored Great American Smoke-out and expanded tobacco/prevention cessation activities (Student Health Services, GF Public Health, Wellness Center and partners)
- December 2000 - present - World AIDS Day (Student Health, Dept. of Counseling, GGF HIV Network, and Wellness Center
- January 2000-Present - Expanded Physical Activity Classes, Assessments, Services, Equipment (Initiated by Intramurals, expanded by Student Health in 2001/Wellness Center assumed responsibility in May 2002 and dramatically expanded programming in the fall of 2002)
