Academic Advisor Information

There are six professional staff members in the Student Success Center who serve as academic advisors to all undergraduate students who are deciding on a major. Academic advisors are available by appointment or once a week on a walk-in basis (excluding summer). Appointments can be scheduled Monday-Friday between 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm by calling the Student Success Center at 777-2117.

Academic advisors are available to assist students with many of their questions and concerns throughout the year. Common topics in an advising session may include: course planning, career/educational goals, academic policies, and campus resources and referrals.

Students can view their assigned academic advisor by logging into their Campus Connection account. The advisor name should be visible once the “Student Center” link is selected. If no advisor is listed, undecided students can call the Student Success Center at 777-2117 to determine their assigned advisor.

Undecided students have the right to choose their academic advisor if they wish to make a change from the advisor assigned to them. Students can be reassigned to a new academic advisor by simply contacting the main office of the Student Success Center at 777-2117.
