REMINDER: May 1 Priority Deadline for Confirming Enrollment & Housing Application
May 1 is right around the corner! Make sure your student is aware of the May 1 priority deadline both to confirm his or her enrollment and to apply for housing at UND.
To confirm your student’s enrollment for Fall 2017, your son or daughter must pay the $200 non-refundable enrollment confirmation deposit. The $200 deposit is a down payment applied to future charges your student will incur on his or her UND bill, like tuition and fees, and is not an additional charge.
Your student must pay this deposit before taking the next steps toward being a UND student, including signing up for Orientation and registering for classes.
Apply for Housing
First-year freshmen are required to live on campus for their first, full academic year or receive an approved exemption. After your student has claimed an NDUS account, he or she should fill out a housing application.
A $60 non-refundable fee is due when submitting the application. Your student should apply early, as his or her room assignment will be based on the date the application is submitted.
Next Step Toward UND
Once your student has confirmed his or her enrollment and applied for housing, the next step is to register for New Student Orientation. Orientation runs from June 5 - July 13 and is designed for Fall 2017 students and their parents/guests. While at Orientation, your student will register for classes with an academic advisor, connect with other new UND students and visit with financial aid, housing and more.
