We’re Here to Help: Student Success Center
The Student Success Center at UND offers services for students, including incoming freshmen, to help them develop the skills and abilities to make a positive adjustment to life at college. These services include academic support, drop-in tutoring and academic advising for undeclared students.
The academic support provided by the Student Success Center is committed to connecting students with the right programs and services for them to develop a personal plan of success. One-on-one assistance is available for students with academic concerns, including:
- Test-taking strategies
- Learning styles
- Note taking
- Time management issues
The Student Success Center also offers drop-in tutoring Monday through Friday during the school year. These services are provided to UND students at no extra cost.
Tutoring is available in many different subjects, including accounting, biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, Spanish and many more.
Choosing a major can be very overwhelming for new UND students. The Student Success Center offers academic advising for all undergraduate students still deciding on a major. Advisors work with students one-on-one to find the major that’s the perfect fit for them.
