Act Now: Register for a PreACT Test
It's never too early for students to start getting comfortable with the ACT test. The PreACT provides 10th graders a practice opportunity for the ACT by helping students:
- Identify current academic readiness for college and career using their PreACT score report
- Predict how students will perform on the ACT after an additional year of learning
- Determine which academic skills students can improve
The PreACT takes 2.5 hours to complete and contains multiple-choice questions in English, mathematics, reading and science. These tests are taken online at a testing center on a national ACT test date, so students get the experience of taking the ACT. Since the tests are online, scores are available about one week after students take the test.
Registration for the PreACT takes less than 15 minutes. We encourage all your 10th graders to register and get a head start on preparing for college.
