Public input meeting to improve traffic on University Avenue set for Nov. 29
The Grand Forks-East Grand Forks Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public input meeting from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 29, at the River Valley Room in the University of North Dakota Memorial Union, 2901 University Ave., to provide draft recommendations to improve traffic on University Avenue.
Representatives from UND and Grand Forks-East Grand Forks Metropolitan Planning Organization (GF-EGFMPO) will be on hand to answer your questions and discuss your concerns. The Public Input Meeting will utilize an open house format where people can come and go during these times. No formal presentation is scheduled. Rather, staff is available to take your input and provide answers to questions.
The draft recommendations are coming from the UND/Grand Forks Transportation and Traffic Coordination Committee. The Committee is comprised of UND Student Representatives, UND Faculty and Staff from both UND and City of Grand Forks, along with Staff from GF-EGF MPO. The Committee Chair is Peggy Lucke, associate vice president for finance and operations.

UND and GF-EGFMPO will make every reasonable accommodation to provide an accessible meeting facility for all persons.
