Hole #8 - 191 Yards - Par 3

Hole #8.  This hole is the longest par 3 at Ray Richards Golf Course and has ruined many a good round - and you still have number #9 anxiously waiting your arrival.  From the tee you will be hitting to a narrow green - that is slightly elevated and tough to hold - with tree trouble everywhere.  Playing at nearly 200 yards from the back tees this hole will test your accuracy with a long iron or hybrid as well as your sanity.

If you are going to miss anywhere . . . miss short.  Hitting right will result in a difficult up-hill pitch - with a tree or two in the way.  Hitting left or long . . . make that mistake and it is going to cost you strokes.  Parring #8 is respectable . . . take it and run.
