Workshops and Training
The LGBTQ+ Ally Training Program is committed to increasing understanding and awareness around how to foster an inclusive and welcoming climate for the LGBTQ+ community. These workshops are open to students, faculty, and staff. After completing the workshop, participants will receive a UND LGBTQ+ Ally placard, button, and wristband. UND faculty and staff will have the option of being recognized as Allies on the Pride Center webpage.
Spring 2018 Workshops
Trainings will take place in Memorial Union, Room 205 (Badlands Room)
- Friday, January 26, 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Monday, February 12, 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Thursday, March 8, 12 p.m. -1:30 p.m.
- Monday, April 9, 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
LGBTQ+ 101 Workshop
The LGBTQ+ 101 workshop is designed for UND Student Groups, Courses, Departments, Greek Organizations, etc. that are interested in learning more about the LGBTQ+ community. The workshop is designed to educate on sexual orientation and gender identity along with how to take an active role in creating an inclusive environment.
