Biography
Dr. Ailin Assady is a Reservoir Engineer at the EERC, where she interfaces with a diverse team of scientists and engineers to assess project uncertainties in oil and gas development and geologic CO2 storage. Dr. Assady holds a Ph.D. degree in Reservoir Engineering from UND. She holds a M.S. degree in Reservoir Engineering from the University of Amir-Kabir (Polytechnic), Iran, and a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran.
Dr. Assady’s principal areas of interest and expertise include reservoir simulation and modeling multiphase flow in porous media; gas injection miscible processes modeling in compositional simulation; natural gas storage and carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration; enhancing oil recovery in conventional/unconventional reservoirs; fluid modeling (pressure, volume, temperature); and pressure/rate transient analysis. Dr. Assady has authored or coauthored several professional publications.
