Biography
Lexi began working the University Counseling Center (UCC) in February 2021. Lexi graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from the University of North Dakota in 2017, and with a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver in 2020. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in North Dakota, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Minnestoa, a Board Certified Telemental Health provider (BC-TMH), and a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
Lexi has over 2 years of experience providing therapy in the Grand Forks community. Lexi provides individual, group, and crisis counseling at UCC. She specializes in working with adults who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, phase of life transitions, and relationship issues. She utilizes cognitive behavioral theory (CBT) techniques, explores childhood upbringing and family dynamics, and integrates other treatment therapies to best meet the needs and goals of each client.
